Mrs.
Rudinas has been with the Bethel Public Schools since 2000.
She was the Payroll Coordinator from November of 2000 to
April of 2006, when she was appointed the Human Resources
Manager. Before working with the Bethel Public Schools she
was employed as a Packaging Manager for Penmar Industries in
Norwalk, CT for 2 years and worked for The Athletes Foot as
an Area Training Manager for the upstate New York and Vermont regions
for 10 years.
Mrs. Rudinas is primarily
responsible for
all personnel issues. She maintains all
personnel records and monitors the certification status of all
professional employees. She is the liaison with the State
Department of Education, and prepares and submits all state
and federal reports relating to personnel within the
district. She prepares annual salary agreements for all staff
in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Mrs. Rudinas participates
in collective bargaining and assists with the interpretation
and administration of the provisions of the collective bargaining units
within the school district. She monitors employee benefits
and administers the Federal Medical Leave Act, Worker’s
Compensation Law, Long Term Disability and other statutory
benefits. She also coordinates the recruitment process for
all staff vacancies.
Mrs. Rudinas grew up in
Bethel and graduated from Bethel High School. She moved back
to Bethel in 1998 to be closer to family after living out of state for
10 years. She is happy to be raising her three children,
Danny, Joshua and Kristine with her husband George in the
town where she grew up.
