Classes are held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and follow the Bethel Public Schools calendar. The morning session is 8:35-11:25, while the afternoon session runs from 12:35-3:15. Early Dismissal hours are 8:45 - 10:45 AM for the morning class, and 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM for the afternoon class.

We want to make sure everyone is prepared for school delays, cancellations, and early dismissals due to snow. Please check your local radio stations (WLAD, WDAQ, WINE), television stations (CBS Eye Witness News 3, NBC 30, ABC WTNH Ch. 8,) as well as the Bethel website School announcements begin at 6:00 AM. When Bethel Schools are closed, Circle of Friends will be closed. When Bethel Schools are delayed 90 minutes, our morning class is delayed 90 minutes. The afternoon class begins at the regular time. In the event that there is a possibility of an early dismissal (i.e., it is snowing) parents should listen to their local radio stations for early dismissal notices. In the event of an emergency, we will try our best to call families from school. All children will be dismissed for early dismissal at 11:25 AM.

If your child is eligible to take the bus to school, you must notify the bus company. The number you should call is 748-8091. It is very frustrating for the bus driver to stop and wait for a child that never comes out. These unnecessary stops increase the length of the run for children already on the bus. It also results in a late pick up for children still waiting for the bus. A simple phone call will reduce the inconvenience for everyone involved. Please have your child ready 5-10 minutes prior to their scheduled pick up time and be ready to take them off the bus 5-10 minutes before the scheduled arrival time. On days when another student is absent, the time will vary.

Circle of Friends doors will only be open at arrival and dismissal times. Staff will be there to open the doors. These are the doors located at the far end of the hall. If you arrive at any other times you must go to the main office.

If you are picking your child up before dismissal, you must go to the main office. The secretary will call down to your child’s class and he/she will be brought to the office to meet you.
