CONGRATULATIONS
Last Sunday morning, Mr. Matt Knickerbocker and I had the pleasure of officiating seventh grade student, Ethan Brown’s attempt to set a world record by reciting in sequence from memory 2,000 digits of Tau. Ethan was successful in his attempt and recited 2012 digits of Tau in about 90 minutes. Below is the link to the video. Ethan now holds the world record for this endeavor. Bravo!

Please support the Bethel High School Navy JROTC program and let them pick up your Christmas tree to recycle it. All trees will be mulched and taken to a local farm. PLEASE have trees out by 9am. Trucks will be out picking up trees between 9am-Noon on SATURDAY, JANUARY 7, 2012.
(Snow date is Sunday, 12-3 PM). A $10.00 donation is suggested and goes toward Educational Programs for our cadets. PLEASE make checks out to “Bethel NJROTC Boosters” and leave in an envelope taped inside your storm door or other accessible area.

FRIDAY! The Bethel High School Senior Class of 2012 will provide a fun-filled evening for your child age 4-10 at the Rockwell School Gym/Café. Drop off begins at 5:30 p.m. Pick up is at 9:00 p.m. We will provide a nut-free snack, drink, games, crafts and gym activities. $15.00 per child for the evening.

Berry Kindergarten classes wrote thank you notes to our veterans and mailed them to a Veterans Hospital in CT. We appreciate the sacrifices you and your families make for all of us.

Friday we will operate with a two-hour delayed opening schedule
Friday buses will not travel on Shelly Road, Sharon Court, Redwood Drive, or Deepwood Drive
Food service will resume its regular schedule, prices, and offerings on Friday
SAT testing will take place as scheduled Saturday morning at Bethel High!

If you joined the Central PTO before September 24, your complimentary directory will be sent home Friday, October 21 with the youngest child at your address. If you ordered one but did not receive it, please check with your child's teacher. Orders received after September 24 will be sent home next week.

A facility study of Rockwell and Johnson Schools was initiated by the Board of Education in early 2011 for the purposes of obtaining valid information about the current conditions of the mechanical, structural, and educational components of these buildings. Rockwell School was completed in 1971 and Johnson School was finished in 1980.
