SCHOOL LUNCH INFORMATION
The Bethel Board of Education contracts with Sodexho Food Services to provide school lunch to Bethel students. We strive to provide a high quality lunch program which meets or exceeds all state and federal guidelines.
Students have the option of paying cash at the time of purchase or prepaying for meals and/or snacks. We use a debit system to track the amount of funds available, and purchases made. We can also provide you with information regarding what your child purchases. Families wishing to prepay for meals may use the form listed below and submit payments as necessary. Prepayment can be for a week at a time, all year or anything in between.
Lunch prices are approved by the Board of Education and are currently set for the 2008-09 school year as follows:
Bethel also offers families the opportunity to apply for free or reduced meals. Guidelines are established by the Federal Government and forms are available at each school. Please note: applications for free or reduced meals are strictly confidential. Should a child qualify for either free or reduced meals, the debit system will treat the child as if he/she has paid for lunch and no one will be able to tell that the child is receiving his/her meals at a reduced rate.
Menus are prepared on a monthly basis and can be found by clicking on the link noted below.
