Technology will be a catalyst for the improvement of teaching and learning, communication, and data management.

The IT Department is recognized as a team that provides technology that is a catalyst for the improvement of teaching and learning, communication, and data management aligned with Bethel Public School’s mission and goals.  Technology will be a catalyst for the improvement of teaching and learning, communication, and data management.

The IT Department ensures a secure, reliable, technologically integrated environment. In support of the mission all technology deployed in district schools are in alignment with academic and administrative goals. The IT Department provides leadership and planning for the effective strategic use of emerging technologies. The IT Department is committed to demonstrating technical and operational excellence through professionalism and continuous improvement.

 

Technology Vision

We effectively integrate technology as a learning and information sharing tool to:
  • Provide flexible and interactive student-centered learning
  • Give students a voice and choice in attaining their learning goals
  • Provide differentiated and personalized learning opportunities.
  • Implement the 4 C’s of the 21st-century learning framework–collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity.
