It is truly an honor and a privilege to be the principal of Frank A. Berry
School and be part of the Bethel Public Schools Family. I come to Bethel with
nearly 20 years of experience working in the New Canaan Public Schools where I began my career as an elementary classroom teacher. I was promoted in 2001 to
Literacy Specialist and then to Math Specialist. In 2012,
I became the K-5 Math Coordinator for the district. I have been an
adjunct professor for the Isabelle Farrington College of Education at Sacred
Heart University, where I have taught in the 6th year degree graduate
program. I earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Manhattanville College, a Masters
of Arts in Elementary Education from Sacred Heart University, and a Sixth Year
Degree in Educational Leadership also from Sacred Heart.
I am dedicated and committed to ensure all children succeed
and reach their true potential, become life-long learners and strive to be active members of
our community. This commitment is coupled with developing strong and
long-lasting family school partnerships to ensure academic excellence for all.
On a personal note, I live in Bethel with my husband and two
sons. We have a dog named Buster, six chickens and bees! I love math, building with legos and launching rockets.
I look forward to many years as the principal of Frank
A. Berry School!
